Fasting-Induced Overeating
Fasting is a powerful weight loss strategy. But some people can have an experience that pushes them out of a centered and emotionally grounded place and into a zone of overeating. This is something I want people to be very mindful of and avoid.
In this session I am going to dive into some fasting philosophy and a number of scientific studies that will help us understand the physiology of fasting in the bigger context of the emotions of eating.
We will discuss who is most at risk for overeating and practical strategies to move toward weight loss without triggering counterproductive pitfalls.
Come to listen and share your thoughts as well!
Sincerely,
-Phil Zimmermann, MD
